In 2023, Dominic and Julie Burtech purchased a neglected Sonoma vineyard that many believed had reached the end of its life. Julie still jokes that Dominic talked her into buying what she called “a dead vineyard.”
“For the next two years, every time we’d go out, Julie would remind me that I’d bought a dead vineyard,” Dominic recalls.
But Dominic never lost faith. He believed there was still something special beneath the surface.
In 2025, the vineyard was carefully re-grafted and given a fresh start. With patience, dedication, and belief in its potential, the vines began to flourish. By the summer of 2026, what was once considered a forgotten vineyard had become a breathtaking landscape of vibrant green vines.
Standing among the rows that July, there was only one name that felt right: Field of Dreams.
Today, Field of Dreams represents perseverance, optimism, and the belief that with hard work, patience, and a little faith, incredible things can happen. Every bottle tells the story of a dream that refused to be given up on, and the family who believed in it from the very beginning.
